Math Help Sessions

Students are all encouraged to seek extra help from their classroom teachers when they are experiencing difficulty. Both student and teacher tutors are available by contacting guidance or the department head. See below for information on online math help.

P.U.M.P: Pre-University Mathematics Program

Online through D2L. Are you attending university in mathematics, science or engineering? If you are currently in grade 12 with a 90%+ average and planning to attend post secondary in a math related field, then this online activity is for you. Self guided with teacher support, get an introduction to concepts covered beyond the curriculum. e.g. Matrices, Complex Numbers, Binomial Expansion.

Junior Math Help

Grade 9 and 10 Homework Help Tutors Online Sunday to Thursday 5:30pm to 9:30pm

Senior Math Help

Sunday - Thursday evenings from 7:00 - 10:00pm
Students can access it from the D2L page.
Any student registered in a Senior math class will have Math Homework Help in their course list in D2L.

Owen Ranks 1st in the Niagara Region
Senior Math Contest Success

Congratulations to Owen Mehta-Jones on his success in this year’s Canadian Senior Mathematics Contest that is organized annually by the University of Waterloo.

Owen Mehta-Jones ranked 1st in the Niagara Region and out of 5000 competitors internationally Owen ranked an unbelievable 88th.  

Congratulations Owen on your success and all the best as you look towards your future post secondary school options in mathematics and computer science.
